Oh Boys

Fun colors, giometric shapes and my golly plaid with hats.  Not so many years ago I wore my blue and red hair in liberty spikes in an effort to forget the pop culture of that time.  Everyone seems to love the 80's today because it reminds us of our own pasts.  Then, politics wore us down to the point that most young Americans were on a spending spree.  But it also inspired us to forge our own leaders.  Our musicans. The then president fueled our like for shopping, it manifested in challenging individuality.  Run DMC and Beasty Boys were breaking records in album sales, while emerging as artists that revolutionized our own identity as Americas in both race as well as creating a new music industries' grammy category.  And, an identity crisis insued.  As far as fashion magazines were concerned, this counter culture didn't exhist....I personally sought a brown face and funky styles as the Europeans had published.  Ugh, I had nothing to follow up with.  Here, finally are images of those stylish young men, gay or straight no matter. Plaids, Fedoras, Checkers, primary colored shoes, we look good in all our shades and sizes.  America the beautiful.
