We have the resurrection of fashion trends coming from the 80's.  We see fashion from the early 90's on streets all over the city.  I have asked the fashion gods to make trends move along until I finally see one particular item I see a definite need to come back.  Crushed Velvet Leggings!  Since its still cold and dreary out here in the east coast, it only makes sense to have something sexy and fun dress those terrible snow boots up.  In Union Square, I spot one gal who saw the same need I have been shopping for the past six weeks of winter.  Of course, she is a supermodel who asked to not be faced... but no matter, her style is the only thing I cared about and she allowed us to shoot her bottom half respectfully.

My excitement cannot be contained because although I am now making my way up the 40 year old latter, this fashionista remembers shopping at Betsy Johnson in high school and college.  I think Betsy needs to recirculate this fashion.
